Hello Nikos, wow, your relatives sure had good taste in shotguns! (Except for the Parker of course! ((Just kidding!)) The R prefix with the serial number would indicate that your barrels are fitted to a REGULAR weight frame. This would be verified by there only being one screw that holds the side-plates on the receiver. Many folks, and I'm one, prefer REGULAR weight guns. If it were a FEATHERWEIGHT gun, it would have a total of three screws that attach the side-plates to the receiver. I'm not sure of what the C44S means under both barrels, but maybe REVDOCDREW will be able to fill us in on that detail, as he is the resident expert on barrel markings!
What will you be hunting with your LC Smith shotgun? I hunt doves and ducks with an O Grade gun that my Great Grandfather purchased new in 1912. The fluid steel barrels (London Steel) that your gun has (if they are in good condition, and haven't been honed) can withstand stronger loads than it's 93 year old wooden stock. You'd be wise to have a good vintage gunsmith check out your gun before you take it in the field. We usually shoot low pressure loads in our LC Smith guns to help protect the wood. We are lucky here in the US to have several sources of high quality low pressure loads commercially available, and many of our shooters actually hand-load their own shells. Someone on the forum may be able to direct you to some vintage gun loads in Greece, or we can point you in the right direction to acquire them from here in the USA.
Both of your recent acquisitions will, depending on their condition, make you fine hunting partners!
Good luck, and feel free to contact me via email if I can help out any further, or just continue to ask questions here. Lots of folks smarter than me read the forum here every day! Just click on the envelope beside my name at the top of the post.
Good luck, and congratulations on having come into possession of a couple of fine family heirlooms!
    John
