Hello Barry Dickey, Please see the pictures of my "shooter L C Smith". Does your fore end look like my fore end, serial number 3094 ??? Brad Bachelder rebuilt this L C Smith for me and fitted barrels from a much latter gun to this much older frame creating a great shooter L C Smith.
You can see a side view of the fore end for 3094 at the LINK posted above. I will get some better pictures of the fore end of sn 3094 posted soon for comparison.
Your fore end serial number would seem to indicate that the fore end came from a two barrel set most likely.
