Hi all, I picked up my "new" L.C. from the gunsmith today; he cleaned the action and glassbedded the head of the stock in anticipation of damage from frequent useage. I took it to the 5 stand course where I proceded to shoot it as well as any gun I own and I returned home as happy as a "pig in mud" with my new L.C. I must remember to wear a glove on my left hand as the barrels heated up to an uncomfortable temp but that aside, I really enjoyed the old double. BTW, I was shooting 7/8 oz of 7 1/2 with enough Red Dot for 1200 fps- a very nice load to shoot. The breaks were very satisfying with the Fand F arrangement. Thanks to all who commented about my new interest in American doubles.
Does anyone have advice on nontoxic waterfowl loads for this nice old gun (1 year shy of a century)? Bill
