Doc. I read the FAQ section on "Sears" guns as referenced above. It doesn't seem to include Elsies made in '45-'50. My 16 has "papers" reflecting it was shipped to Sears. Perhaps I have not read the FAQ closely enough, and probably it is of no real importance, anyway. But it stuck out to me when I read it. I'm proud of my little "late model", and don't want it to get shorted. LOL. Regards, Jim C.
