    Hi John
There a couple of thing which you will probably need to do. After just completing some safty repairs my gun would go back togeather unless I first made sure that the safty was on and the triggers were fully engaged. In this position the safety link is held fairly well by the trigger pressure. Then carefully position the trigger plate over the holes in the reciever and make sure that the safety link engages the safety in the full on safe position. Then insert but do not tighten the front trigger plate screw( The big fat one) Then insert and begin to tighten the centre trigger plate screw ( it has a small unthreaded ortion which engages the opening leaver column( this should be in the closed position). AS you get the centre screw to engage the threads then you need to tighten the front screw. Then the centre screw can be tightened and finally the main frame screw can be inserted thd tightened. This may not be the accepted meathod but it worked for me and I had it apart several times. Hope this helps.
    cheers Allen
