I found a A1 for sale. The gun has a lot of wear but the damascuss bores are bright with minimal pitting. The pits look more like smudges in the bore. The engraving matches one of the pictures on page 157 in the new LC smith book. Most of my elsie's have the grade stamped on the barrel flats, others on the water table. This gun does not have a grade stamped on any of the normal places. Is this normal for an A1?
It also has a skelton butt plate.
The price does not seem to be outrageous but it is not cheap.
