Neal: Your purple grip cap sounds rather unique.I seriously doubt that it was a factory supplied cap. I would believe that it is more than likely an after market replacement. You can occasionaly find replacement original & correct after market caps on E-bay. The originals were black or some had the look of horn.Iv'e never seen a purple with a white outline.
