A purple grip cap on my 1926 Trap Grade!Archived Message

I have a 1926 Trap Grade with a clear plastic(?)grip cap that is a lovely shade of lavendar/pale purple. It has a white spacer. Has anyone seen anything like this? Was it a 1920's period modification? Could it have been a factory option? Thanks!--Neal Goldsborough
