Jent: A small point, but the 10-bore was never Parker's most popular guage. Looking at the chart in Chapter 31 of my new book--"What Happened to Old Ten-Bore?"-- the 12-bore percentage of production answer is:
1866-1874....95% (observed guns) 1874-1875....64% (advent of factory records) 1875-1880....59% 1880-1885....54% 1885 to 1900....70%-79%-87%
The era of the Parker 10-bore's greatest popularity was 1880 to 1885 @ 44%, falling of to 2% ca.1900 and 1% in 1910--no wonder there are so few fluid steel ten-bores. I don't know about the LCS, but I suspect the numbers would be about the same, as the gunmakers were bound to make what their customers wanted. EDM
