Matt: you may have bent the forend J spring-not a hard fix or replacement if needed. Let us know where you're from, and we might be able to recomend a doublegun specialist smith near you. It's likely your fine gun is well past a good check and clean anyway, and you might think about glasbedding the head of the stock.
