It also doesn't have the FW S stamp for the prefix either. This gun like mine is an early 1946 gun, mine has FW S1825 stamped on it. Then Field, no markings on the top of the barrels. I'm wondering if this is stamp is because it was a "second" and was not going to be used and then it was. Interesting, this is what makes it fun.
