Wasn't sure how the day was going to turn out, rained all night and the place I go to has a lot of bottom land that is always wet, well it was wetter since the rain we just had and from before. Got smart and wore my 16" high rubber boots to ford the now stream. We put out some chuckers and pheasants, because there are no wild birds around any more and this area was once the pheasant capital of Pa. Here in Pa. there is no moratorium on chuckers, so it is ideal to use them for dog training. Gun used circa 1922 Ideal Grade 12 ga. R E, 30" barrels full/full, 8 lbs even. Not the ideal gun to be carrying around for any length of time, but I had to try it out. Reloads low-pressure 7,400 psi at 1190 fps. Shoots nice.
As you can see in the picture, the water doesn't affect Max at all, he will lay in it to cool off when the weather was warmer.
