Well Boys; I kind of been holding off with telling the story behind this gun. (Waiting for ol' Troy to jump in, but what with it being Chritsmas Eve, and my being the sentimental fool that I am, it goes like this.) The gun was bought new by his Great Grandfather. His Dad refinished the wood in his younger days, and durring Troy's tenure as the gun's keeper, he snapped the stock at the wrist while chasing a crippled pheasant. Nothing unusual about that. We can fix it. Here is the cool part --- once we get her all stocked and looking fine and slick and long and lean,(like an LC should look)' He is going to bring his Dad on down here to see it. Big surprise for him. (Dad don't know about any of this yet, and belive me I'm trying harder on this one than I ever have before). And it shows. Looking forward to that day more than Troy knows ---- Have a few stories of my own about family guns. Been there. It is a privledge to be able to do this kind of work for these kinds of reasons, and hope that I can hold out long enough to do many more like it. So, there it is Troy --- Hope I got it right. Once again, The best of luck and health to all of you over the holidays and in the coming year. Respectfully; Bill Kraft
