Dont know if anyone has heard of this or not. I have had the above gun since the early 1960's and recently discovered in my search to assess value; there are 4 areas of the gun that have serial numbers: receiver, forend, barrel and trigger guard. The first 3 match and the trigger guard is identical except it is exactly 1000 off. 213xxx and 212xxx. The x;s are the same. Any guesses as to how that could happen ?
