I agree with Researcher. It would be a neat find with the sight intact and the selling price adjusted for the holes in the rib would make the gun a high quality bargain shooter. Bill Hambridge, being a custom gunsmith, ought to have a more professional fix than headless screws. Can't a good craftsman fill the holes and have an engraver fill in with a pattern identical to the rib matting and refinish to hide the work? If not, that's OK too, but tell us what can be done, Bill.
