    I agree...it's good news for owners of such guns, but also wanted to add it's good news for every "Elsie" fan...as now we have more documented historical fact to add to our ever growing knowledge on these wonderful guns.

    It would be neat if someone would commision Cody to find out how many were made of each grade, but I am afraid that would get very costly and thus probably won't happen. I know I can't foot the bill for that kind of in depth project as it would be an immense undertaking to say the least. This small research project would pale in comparison to trying to find the total number made. At any rate, these facts are now documented and as I said earlier, this info can be added to the known facts and figures of production totals we are so lucky to have already.
