Long Range Eagle Grade Archived Message

Well my packet arrived today from Cody. It contained the results of a research project I commissioned Jessica to do on my behalf. The goal of this research was to ascertain the exact amount of Eagle Grade guns made as Long Range Wild Fowl guns.

Per her research and thus documented via a Cody Letter in the research packet...a total of 24 guns were made. The VAST majority of these guns were made in 1924 and 1925 with only nine made in later years up to the last one made in 1933.

The majority of these guns had ejectors, only 2 did not have them. Most had selective single triggers, only 9 didn't. 18 of the guns had 32" barrels, and the remaining 6 had 30" barrels.

I have contacted those who sent me an email stating they had such a gun...if you didn't receive my email...reply here and I will try again. I have more info on these guns and will share what I have to those who own that gun.

One last interesting note to make at least on my part is that the majority of the guns in the "type" column are recorded as REO LR guns...meaning Regular frame, auto ejectors, selective one trigger, Long range wild fowl. ONLY five are recorded as REOTLR. I found this interesting indeed.
