    Meriden firearms did exist and there is a very nice article about them in DGJ of ?last year. Anyway they were located in Meriden, CT. just like the Parker Bros. Many of the Parker folks were thought to have moonlighted there. They produced budget to fine quality sidelocks until WWI. As I recall they were a wholly owned subsiduary of Sear and Roebuck as no one would whole sxs's to Sears, so they made their own. Some of the high quality guns are very well done.
