I have recently aquired a 1929 Field Grade LC. I am in the process of cleaning it up. I stupidly depressed the "button" at the bottom of the "doll's head" slot which tripped the rotary lock. Also the top lever is centered and doesn't seem to want to move. Have I really screwed up here? I would like to clean and lube the locks but from this experience and what I've read concerning getting the top lever screw back in I pretty reluctant to do anything further.
