Having shot a few live pigeons, I can tell you that most pigeon shooters are single trigger crazy. The Miller Single Trigger was invented in the heart of PA pigeon country with the flyer shooting boys in mind.
Could be the gun was ordered by an old timer who didn't favor these new fangled devices. Or maybe it's just a regular trap gun and the guy didn't want the aggrevation of a safety.
