I just picked up a 20 ga Ideal Grade FW 94475, circa 1927. Examining it and first thought the gun was refinished, now I'm not sure. On the barrels water table you can see that it has a oval shape with Chambered 2/4" Inches. The straight stock threw me off, but taking out the screws, the stock is serial numbered to the gun. The forend isn't. I like the look of the long trigger guard. The case colors look 100% and so does the nitre blue on the forend iron and the trigger guard. It also has a 3 position safety. Barrels mike up .022 right and .032 left. Also has twin ivory beads. From the pictures what are your thoughts as to refinished or original.
Another question is would the 2 3/4" chambers have to be special ordered in 1927?
