    Jason: We can discuss this area further; but my first thoughts would be towards Smith guns having a Syracuse address. I say this due to the fact that (1) we have an existing data base for the Hunter guns (remaining records), and don't have anything at all for the Syracuse guns; and (2) a data base had already been established for the Syracuse guns by Russ Ruppel before his death. I don't know what has happened to his research; but it should be salvaged and continued.
    My thoughts on the Hunter/Fulton guns concerns parted-out specimens. I personally would really like to see someone record the serial numbers off parts constantly being autctioned off on eBay; to me it is amazing at the numbers of Smith guns suffering such fate. As FYI, I have componets from two parted out A-2s, a Pigeon, and another high grade Smith gun; if such fine guns as these meet that fate, we can only imagine the numbers of lower grade Smith guns junked out.
