I would be glad to help out or do the "work" in assembling this database. It is dependent upon one thing, people have to contribute info. Your right about people not wanting others to know details about their collection.
If others think this project is a worthy cause, and want to go forward, I think that is great. The discussion at the upcoming Southern Shoot will be a good time to decide which if any route should be taken. I will volunteer my services however they are needed.
I wish I could attend the shoot, but my little girls 1st birthday party comes first! I look forward to more discussions on this and hope others will give their thoughts.
Having done large amounts of research, compiling databases, creating websites, uploading info/pictures, etc... I am well aware of the amount of work it takes. I believe it to be a worthy cause though. What say others? I do not want to jump in line here, I think it should be decided upon, etc...
