Arguably the prettiest set of Damascus tubes I have ever seen was on an F.T. Baker boxlock at Woodcock Hill in Pennsylvania back in the late 1990's. If I remember correctly, that gun was in English nitro proof for 850 BAR and 70mm, which translates to our standard 2 3/4-in shells. I should have bought it, but didn't because of my ignorance and suspicion about the safety of Damascus tubes. I have since seen other Damascus-tubed shotguns that were almost as nice, but on far-more expensive guns. One is a spectacular Hobson/Boss variant for sale here in Denver, the other set is on a Dickson round-action in the same shop. Both are, of course, in proof, and I believe the price tag for either gun well exceeds $10K (the Dickson is closer to $20K).
