OH: You've been on the B&P website http://www.bandpusa.com/files/db_trio.pdf The load is 1 1/16oz at 1280 fps and recoil (not pressure) will probably be similar to a 1 1/8 oz 3 dram trap load at 1200 fps (20.4 ft lb in a 8# gun) For reference, the recoil from a 1 oz load at 1200 fps is 16.4 ft lb. in a 8# gun. My concern is the effect of recoil on your at least 90 year old wood, rather than the effect of the pressure on the action. I'd still glass bed the head of the stock and reinforce around the lockplates but others will disagree.
