Thanks Tom. I was basing my comments on the vast majority of "Sweet Elsies" I opened up and found the head of the stock saturated with 3-in-1 oil or Hoppe's No.9. Seems that after the season the ole timers swabbed the bores then squirted some sort of oil into the firing pin holes and stood her in the corner till next Fall! Concur that the break looks "fresh", but given the general age, wear and tear, etc. would be nice to bring her back to "factory new". As you point out not that many small gauge pre-1913's running around. Best, Bill
