Hello Dan; Yes, we did stock the gun - from an english rifle blank that would have made up into a better two piece. It did. Had a lot more wiggle room for a good grain layout too. The trigger guard started out as the factory piece - just never did like the looks of them - too low at the rear, and too far behind the left trigger. We bent it, sectioned it, and bent it some more, and then welded on and shaped the long tang. Finally beveled the whole thing to a nice crisp edge. Looks much sleeker now in keeping with the lines of the gun. Now wish that I had cut off the factory spur, and welded in a nicer one. Classic Guns' color casing does the metal work proud.
