David has given you solid advice; but 16-bore Crowns are seen much less often than the same grade in a 20-bore, so I suspect the blue-book value for a very high condition example 16 might be even a little higher. Like David stated, condition is the greatest factor in value determination; but rarity also carries weight. Cliff White (404/626-2501) is a regular dealer in high-grade Smith guns and is therefore very familiar with current market values; you may wish to call him for an opinion when he has returned from the Vegas gun show.
