I was just handed down a family gun and don't know what it is or it's approximate value. It's a hammerless, dual trigger, 12 gauge, L.C. Smith SxS. Below the barrels, on the receiver is "PAT'D MAR.29,88" "JULY.13,86" "OCT.5,86"

The plates have an oval with a quail on the left and some sort of long beaked bird on the right. The barrels appear to be damascus. The barrel rib is marked "HUNTER ARMS CO. MAKERS FULTON N.Y." marked in one row. On the bottom of the barrels it has the number 3 on the rib and "X X X" stamped on each barrel. I can also provide the serial number "which is stamped on the bottom of the barrels, below the barrels on the receiver, and also under the handguard.
