I inherited a hammered LC Smith recently, and I am trying to understand the few markings it has. The only top side markings are two line “Hunter Arms Co. Fulton, New York” on the flat rib between the barrels. The only serial number was found on the for hand stock, 174806. Side plates have no engraving, only LC Smith. This gun is in extremely good shape. Barrels are marked Royal. Any knowledge shared would be appreciated Steel
