Yep, found that book and the XXX guns are mentioned on page 42.

This gun is clearly in that date and serial number range but...I can't remember seeing much on the barrel flats or under the tubes other than the number 2 and the serial number.

It'll be here next week and I'll look at it again to see if I missed anything.
