I think its a nice touch. Looks like it belongs there. I know a lot of makers offered special touches on request. I would have never known about it if I hadn't sent it off to be restocked. Another thing about it that has me scratching my head is that the receiver is marked fw but the barrels are not but numbers match. The forearm number is from 1940 rather than 1939.
