Roger, thank you for taking the time to research this! I have been traveling and just getting back home to read this thread. I have also attempted to find those codes on some WWII documents but have not had any luck.

I think you may have indeed cracked the code on these markings!!!


The markings on my WILDFOWL is VA2119 stamped on the right side lower receiver.
