The early 3 barrel guns had no serial number and Daryl Halquist was going to get back to me on when Baker started putting serial numbers on 3 barrel guns. The earliest that I have is 155 a No.1 12x12x44-40. The earliest Smith Baker double is 1601 B grade 12 gauge.
So if my research is correct, Ken's two guns were made my William Baker and Co. Lyle, N.Y.
To me, the later Baker guns are different, at this time it is when Baker left Ithaca after 1883 and returned and his brother joined him to make the Baker gun.
