I have some LC Smith shotguns that I hunt with. Mostly waterfowl. I have another one that is a little too nice for the swamp. It is a straight stock(nice wood on both stock and forend) both are checkered. It has 32 inch barrels and they are choked pretty tight. It has ejectors. The barrels are marked Hunter Arms Field Grade. I have Brophy's book and it looks like it was made in 1915. I am just curious if it is just a field grade that someone restocked with nice wood.
ser #215965. I have always wondered if this gun was original.
