All guns are 12 gauge. 2. The Brownells chamber gauge hits the forcing cone 2 1/2in from end of barrels. It does this in both Smith's and Parker. It does not in the Fox made about 1940.The Smith's and Parker seem to have very similar chamber dimensions. I have no way of measuring the interior of the chambers. I am thinking about switching to paper shells in these shotguns thinking the paper would seal to the chamber walls upon firing better than the plastic. 3. The Rio shells are 70mm (2 3/4in) but .02in larger in diameter than Federal shells. My concern with the plastic shells is blow back around outside of the shell when fired. I will measure diameter of my chamber gauge. Thanks for our time. These are all good shotguns, I am trying to use correct shells for them.
