Ralph,reaming chambers is something for someone that knows what they are doing.There are plenty of people around that can do this.It does make it easier on the guns in the opinion of many folks that shoot these guns a lot.Try Starret for your Intermics.You may use fiber wads in your plastic AAs,they work fine.A good source for these wads is Craig Smith at Circle Fly Wads.717-862-3600 I'm not sure of what you are seeking to gain by using fiber wads?You will have much more blowby and lead fowling.My favarite load in the AAs for these guns is: Winchester 209 primer,18.5 grains of Green Dot ,1.125 AA orange Claybuster Wad,1 ounce of shot. This load clocks in at 1180-1190 FPS and checks in at 7000PSI as per Armbrust Lab.I have been shooting this load for fifty years in Smith guns,thousands a year without a problem.Charlie.
