If it is tight when closed I wouldn't worry about it. Holding gun up to light and looking at where barrels meet receiver you should see some light near where they meet which is common. If you have access to feeler gauges check between the barrel faces to the breech of the receiver. One thousand-two thousand is good (.001-.002). Years ago they would tell you to put a dollar bill on the breech side and close the gun, if the dollar could not be pulled out that was good. I'm guessing that a dollar is about .004.
