I don't really 'collect', I acquire for personality---and if they are articulated, all the better.

I love articulation the best. Mattel dolls could be better with the aesthetics of the knee joint. >

My current favorite is the new “buff” body Looks Ken doll, but I also the Kith Barbie doll from a couple of years ago.

I'm from the "old guard" - I prefer the vintage, mod, repro and silkstone dolls.

Vintage, mod, and silkstones are my favorites but I also enjoy the MTMs.

I love the vintage Barbie dolls, the side part American Girl doll is my wish list.

I say I collect vintage, which I do, but whatever catches my eyes in modern too...

I use this girl quite a bit for scenes that need articulation. As you can see I put a mod head on a mtm body! I don't like most of the big head new dolls they put out now. Pretty much a vintage girl for me, I only buy new ones that I adore and they are few and far between

The only jointed dolls I like is when they cover them with the same material as Living Barbie from 1969 to the early 70's. They look like puppets otherwise imho.
