How to curl 1981 Magic Curl Barbie hair? Archived Message Posted by Alexis on 5/15/2015, 9:36 am I bought a vintage Barbie bundle on ebay and in it was a 1981 Magic Curl Barbie. Her hair was a nasty tangled frizzy mess. I managed to brush it out and washed it but now it's almost totally straight. I know originally the doll came with a solution that you put on her hair to make it curly or straight. Does anyone know what was in it? Or if there is something I can do to the hair to make it curl again without having to boil perm it?
