But with over 800 people on the list and very few dropping out until recently, most people didn't see any movement.
At one point, the number of people on the waitlist was greater than the number of conventioneer slots available. That's when the list was closed to new names as it was felt it wasn't fair to give people hope when it was highly unlikely that they would ever be able to get in.
Next year in Louisville, KY, it should be easier.
There are locations selected for 2026 (Austin, TX) and 2027 (Phoenix, AZ) and themes/host clubs/chair teams will be voted on next Tuesday morning in Palm Desert.
I'll keep everyone updated and share what I can once I learn more.
