As for Strawberry SAC, I have a test pressing of the album which has a label calling the band Crystal Circus pasted over a label calling the band Strawberry SAC. I think Holmes renamed the band Crystal Circus. I think MDH has a test pressing or acetate as well. This is the same album that was released on Akarma records called "In Relation To Our Times" by Crystal Circus. Jack Bielan was in another band on All American called Indescribably Delicious which was "produced" by Holmes. They had a 45 on All American "Brother, Where Are You". Their sound was a mix of garage and blue eyed soul. I have some old 8x10 promo photos of ID. I'll have to dig them out and post on my FB page if anyone is interested.?.

: Is he still alive and kicking or did the
: "Cancer" catch up with him ? I
: think that is what he told everyone he had ?

: Hi. Not much of a project, and not really
: mine. Just an effort by the notorious Bill
: Holmes to keep the franchise alive. He
: pulled some guys together & asked me to
: record some tracks. I liked the guys - jack
: Bielan, Terry Rae (from some iteration of
: Blue Cheer), jack Feldman (occasional
: bassist for Chuck Berry and father of
: Korry), gary solomon (from hullabaloos'
: Palace Guard - with a very hot wife) and
: some guitarist. It was fun, but not enough.
: Went back to school after that. (And later
: felt guilty for being on the wrong side of
: the Holmes BS - sorry guys.)
