It purports to be a serious, upright newspaperArchived Message

but my main objection to it for its political stance (which I won't go into, I don't want to offend). How shall I put it ... The Daily Mail likes to comment in an over the top, shocked way about all manner of things that they perceive as unacceptable and not the 'right kind of thing'. They promote a way of life which they and their readers believe is 'right'. Their reports are often very twisted in order to support their political agenda. They do also, in common with the other tabloids, but not quite to the same extent as The Sun and The Mirror, cover the antics of a whole lot of people who apparently are 'celebrities'.
My Mum buys it on a Tuesday for the health supplement and is always cutting bits out for me to read. They are all along the lines of 'if youy eat this, you will die', being alive causes cancer', 'this drug cures this disease but gives you this far worse one', etc, etc.
