It's a yes from me - he is a boss footballer and was absolutely key to City winning the treble. Still got 3 or 4 years at the top level in him. His injury record is good as well isn't it? Could be like having a peak Areteta/Piennar for what he could bring to the team.

We never ever learn.

I know it’s only a loan but taking other clubs’ washed-up or crocked former big-hitters and paying them a fortune while wrecking team spirit of the regular players is madness. He’s surplus to requirements at City for a reason - he’s a barely functioning ale tank.

Gascoigne, Ginola, Schneiderlin, Van der Meyde, Fabian Delph, Gibson, Dele Alli to name but a few, and most of whom we couldn’t give away. Then there was James Rodriguez on £220k a week, which nearly killed the club. Get real Moyes.

Grealish isn't one of them. He's just not a Guardiola player. City want to push teams right up, and Grealish is a player who dies his best work when he's got some of the field I'm front of him. I think the way we play would be much more suited to him than the way City play.

It’s the premier league. I know you lot are enjoying Ndiaye, but from what I have seen of him on Sky games, he looks shackled compared to how he played for us. Some of that of course is better defenders, but the number of safe square or backward passing is something we didn’t really see. Premier League footy is played safe for the lesser sides.
Imagine the devastation that Grealish and Iliman could unleash if allowed to!

He spent half of last season playing as a second left back. We have been asset stripped of any creativity going forward as a consequence of 4 years of mad shit off the pitch . I'm hoping a more balanced forward line by deadline day gives him space to play and people to pass to

I’m sure Moyes will have spoken to him and be sure he’s motivated. I live in North Worcestershire now and know a few Villa fans. He single handedly dragged them to promotion.
If we get him and Moyes allows him to play with freedom he had at Villa he would transform the team.

My understanding is that if footballers drink booze then they won't be as good as they could be / should be and their career will end earlier.

As long as Grealish doesn't drink in the run up to a game then he'll still be more talented abd capable than anything we have.

And provided he's on loan then it's not our concern if his career ends earlier than it should.

I really hope we get him - on loan - and ideally Richarlison as well.
