Everton are competing with City, United, and the Shite.
All three clubs much bigger than Everton, with much deeper pockets and who have shown that there is a path to the first team for talented kids. Added to that, all three regard the Academy as a profit making enterprise as other clubs pay decent money for their cast offs.
