I'm very familiar with the authorities, process and 'rules' surrounding recusal - you don't need to keep posting bits of case law or articles from chambers websites. My personal view is that any application for recusal would have failed. That is because I do not believe it would have met the relevant tests and in particular on apparent bias. I've gave those reasons in other posts but it boils down to this - I don't think that having been instructed by Leeds in a previous unrelated case a long time ago, meets the test. I don't believe it even comes close to satisfying the test particularly as recusal should be 'rare'
