There was some racist undertones with the previous owners of Dollywood, think it was called Dixieland. The accusation was they wouldn't employ black locals. I think she actually said the word Dixie was offensive. Anyway she changed it and the workforce better represented the local population. Thats my memory of reading about it from over 25 years ago anyway.
