I'm on the Wrexham supporters club coach from Chirk and I saw there was another one from mid Wales Welshpool area. I would imagine both coaches are going A483 to m53. Don't know if this is of any use to you.
The coach stop is dead handy on Regent road. 5-10 min easy walk.
