So we had a load of holes to fill and so far we've not managed to plug quite a few of them....but of the holes we have managed to plug.

We got a striker who the manager chose to leave on the bench until ten minutes before the end.

We had a box-to-box midfielder who the manager chose to play in some weird number 10 style position behind the striker.

We had a left back, who despite having no other fit left back to select, the manager chose to not even put on the bench.

We had a star signing, who we signed too late for the manager to consider giving more than 30 minutes game time.

Not a ringing endorsement of our transfer activity is it?

And before anyone comes back with this bollox about lets see what happens when the window closes, its not the point is it. That's going to be after three games have been played, and there will no doubt be another three games where the manager will say that anyone signed on deadline day hasn't had time to integrate into the squad yet.
