Down the Hatch Diner - burgers and wings etc
Dulse - Really good seafood
Civerinos - Good pizzas
The Wu - Asian/Pacific Steak place. Unlimited steak and chips. can pay extra for Lobster and Sushi
Tapas at the Shore - Similar to Cafe Andaluz, 50% off food on Thursdays


Drink:
The Bow Bar - Just off the Grassmarket. Decent ales and an outstanding whisky selection
Teuchter's Landing - A bit Rugby crowd-ish at times, but really nice to sit out next to the water on a sunny day
The Cambridge - Slightly gentrified now, but still a fairly old school drinkers pub
Thistle Street Bar - Similar to above, but maybe slightly more touristy
Oxford Bar - The best of the three of these. Used to see Ian Rankin in here all the time
Panda and Sons - Brilliant cocktails
